Domestic Violence Against Women: A Cross-Sectional Study

Objective: Domestic violence against women is an important public health problem worldwide and in Türkiye. This study aimed to analyze participants' demographic characteristics, levels, relations between the two.
 
 Materials Methods: 308 participated online via “Google Forms”. Participants answered "Sociodemographic Characteristics Data Form" “The Severity of Violence Against Women Scale”. As a method inside SPSS, descriptive statistical analysis nonparametric tests were used data.
 Results: It has been determined that characteristics participants are better than average for Proportion who have subjected at least one sub-category by not answering "never" all questions 43.8%. 41.6% participating did answer about threat dimension, 14% actual 7.5% sexual dimension. In comparative analyzes, significant difference or correlation couldn’t be detected most part.
 Conclusion: Frequency dimensions except "threat dimension" was low. Level found low sizes. recommended repeated under conditions.
